HEART OF GOLD - THE ROTARY CENTENARY ROSE

Limited Edition Print

"Heart of Gold" is a rose that has been specially commissioned by Rotary District 1010 to mark the centenary of Rotary International in 2005, and to highlight the work of its official charity called Rotary Foundation. For every rose bush sold, £1.50 is donated directly to Foundation to assist with the funding of many worthy causes worldwide.

To mark the occasion, The Rotary Club of Aberdeen St. Machar have commissioned a watercolour painting of the "Heart of Gold" rose, by renowned botanical artist Rodella Purves. The painting is a fabulous representation of the rose throughout its various stages, from bud to full bloom, and it serves as a wonderful reminder of a truly momentous occasion in the history of Rotary International.

An exclusive limited edition of 250 colour prints, individually signed by the artist, have been produced, and all profits from the sale of these prints will be donated to Rotary Foundation, to help fund the many worthwhile causes which contribute to making Foundation the largest charity of its kind in the world.
