2004-2005, Glenn Estess, by PDG Bill Wood at the RIBI Assembly.
This is the first instalment for Foundation as a result of the sale
of more than 6,500 Rotary Rose bushes by the end of 2003. |

The Lord Provost of Aberdeen presented a framed print
of the Rotary Rose Portrait to the residents of the Sue Ryder Care
Home in Aberdeen. The print was funded by The Rotary Club of Aberdeen
St. Nicholas. |

of the 'Heart of Gold' bloom. |

Gardening Scotland: 'Heart of Gold' stand
in the Highland Hall at the RHS Showground at Ingliston. Information
also available in the Rotary Hospitality Marquee. |
| 2nd August |
Esther Rantzen plants the first Rotary Heart of Gold
rose bush in a new rose bed at Regent's Park to mark Rotary's centenary
in 2005. The new rose bed will be planted with 115 rose trees provided
by Rotary Club of St Marylebone, London. |
| 30th & 31st October |
''Heart of Gold' stand at District 1020's Conference
in Aberdeen. Reports received on sturdiness of bushes planted last
year (40 blooms on each of 2 bushes; blooms still on bushes in hilly
area of Scottish Borders). Several Clubs in District 1020 have ordered
100+ bushes for planting locally in high visibility areas. |
