HEART OF GOLD

"Heart of Gold" is a rose that has been specially commissioned by Rotary District 1010 (Scotland North) to mark the centenary of Rotary International in 2005, and to highlight the work of its official charity called "Rotary Foundation." And, for every rose bush sold, £1.50 is donated directly to Foundation to assist with the funding of many worthy causes worldwide.

To mark the occasion, the Rotary Club of Aberdeen St. Machar has commissioned a watercolour painting of the "Heart of Gold" rose by renowned botanical artist Rodella Purves. The painting is a fabulous representation of the rose throughout its various stages, from bud to full bloom, and it serves as a wonderful reminder of a truly momentous occasion in the history of Rotary International.

A limited edition of 250 full size colour prints (50cm x 60cm), individually signed by the artist, are now available to purchase at a price of £75.00 (including postage and packing) and these can be ordered using the order form below. The prints are available immediately on receipt of order and payment, and will be despatched in protective packaging to prevent damage.

All profits from the sale of the prints will be donated to Rotary Foundation, to help fund the many worthwhile causes which contribute to making Foundation the largest charity of its kind in the world.
